Vietnam's coffee area reaches about 710.66 thousand hectares, productivity reaches 28.2 tons/hectare, giving an output of more than 1.84 million tons. Of these, the five Central Highlands provinces account for 91.2% of the area and 93.2% of the country's coffee output.

Preserving coffee in bags (can use jute bags, sacks): This is one of the most commonly used methods today. However, there are some things to keep in mind when using this method:
• The moisture content of green coffee beans before being put into storage bags must be < 13%.
• The less impurities in coffee the better. For type I and II coffee, the impurity ratio must be less than 0.5%.
• Store in a well insulated and humidified warehouse.
• Must disinfect and clean the warehouse before loading coffee bags.
• Coffee bags should not be placed directly on the ground or against the wall. They should be placed 0.5m from the wall and 0.3m from the ground.
• To avoid compression of the bags due to the load of the bags above, the packing order should be reversed every 3 weeks.
